Like the title says I’ve seen so many people here pick stocks based on thinking that the world revolves around them. For example, Meta, saw sone people says “I just deleted my account” “who even uses Facebook anymore”. Never mind the billions of users still using it all around the world. Then came NFLX, “I just deleted Netflix because of password sharing, Netflix is doomed”. The funniest was TSLA, this one dude goes “I am the main demographic for Tesla and I’m not buying it because of Elon. The company is done.” A year later Model Y becomes the best selling car in the world. There are many other examples. At this point if I see a similar comment I’d just buy that stock more.
