How/will/when Twtr holders get the $54 a share?

Hey, I’m pretty new to investing and a total newbie to the rules of it. I keep seeing that Twitter shareholders will get the price Elon paid, around $54, I bought in last week at $51, but obviously, now it’s trading at <$50…

Basically, I’m wondering; how will we get that $54, will it even happen, and if so, when?
