It's becoming more and more likely that AI will take over the workforce in our lifetimes. It could be in 10 years or 50 years, who knows.
I can't decide between the two scenarios:
– AI will make us stock holders incredible wealthy because less employees are needed, less office space is needed, etc, therefore stocks increase in value because of higher margins and growth in companies
OR
– Something happens in the economy with universal basic income, we go socialist, and we can't own stock or something – Idk. Just random thinking
What do you think is going to happen to us stock holders if AI takes over the workforce completely and 50%+ of people are out of work?
