how to use compound interest in different countries?

So at 26 years old I've finally learnt about compound interest. I have done a little research and vanguard with the S&P 500 is my go to option. However this is because I'm living in the UK, what happens if I move abroad to another European country. Can I continue to invest here or would I need to use a different market/platform? Any help will be greatly appreciated!
