Currently I’m trading commodity futures. I’m no means an expert but I’m knowledgeable in how they work. How do you trade stocks because with futures the margins are cheap and you can get sizable positions on with a smaller account less than $20,000. But I can’t make as much money buying 20 shares of a $160.00/share stock as I can margining a $3500 contract of soybeans. That’s my question how do you get the leverage in stocks? Buy on margin? Trade options? Options on commodity futures are generally pretty slow. But on WSB guys show some good gains with stock options., there expiry dates are weird to me as well. How do you find stocks to trade versus buy and hold?
