How to retrospectively calculate annual returns from transactions

I've been investing for around 5 years, but kept a very poor record of my investments. I have a spreadsheet of all my orders (buys and sells), and the dates they happened, but there's hundreds of them and many are multi-year.

i.e., buy S&P500 on 01/01/2018, sell on 01/01/2022.

What I want, is a way to work out my 'on paper' returns, for that period where I didn't actively trade that exact stock. That'd be easy if it was one ETF / index, but I have stupidly dabbled in a bunch of individual stocks.

So what I'm wondering is this: is there any app / software / excel template, where I can enter dates and quantity, and it'll automatically work out my portfolio history?

i.e.;

Ticker Quantity Date
AMZN + 3 01/01/2018
AMZN – 1 01/03/2019
GME +69 01/05/2019
LCID -100 06/09/2020
AMZN +1 01/01/2022

And then it'd work out what my balance / annual returns were. I'd imagine a nice graph or something.

a) Surely this data is public, so it'd be easy to calculate, just labour intensive.
b) This would be beneficial cross-broker.
