How to do DD on stocks? Only know how to follow memes ngl

Everyone always posts that annoying ass “not financial advice. Do your own DD” line but how do you do DD? What things should I look for in a stock, charts, “option chains” etc etc? I’ve been playing stocks for the past two years now but haven’t really learnt anything other than to not invest in something if it’s already run like 40-50 percent in the past week.
