How often do you buy stocks when they DIDN’T dip?

How often do you buy stocks when they DIDN'T dip?

I tend to prefer to buy stocks whenever they are on a down day (3-5% etc), but I was wondering how people who buy stocks on the “up and up” do when they buy stocks that are up for the day or week etc..

As an example, stocks like PLD, LNTH or even commodity stocks have been up for so long I hesitate to even buy them but those were also my thoughts for a stock like LNTH a month ago and since then has still made 15-20% gains.
