I know that this isn't the place to post info/questions about meme stocks, but I've tried to find an answer amongst the respective subreddits and haven't found a reasonable answer. I lurk in this subreddit to find pragmatic thoughts on market movements to try to see through the hype veils that are constantly going on in other places.
This is a pretty simple question that should boil down to pretty elementary math. Market cap = share count × ticker price. As it has been for the last several weeks, AMC and their dividend APE have had the same market cap at quite significantly different prices.
How is this possible? Thanks in advance.
