How has virtually every stock exponentially grown since its IPO?

Hey guys, bit of a stupid question here and I’m a beginner to investing. How is it that if you look at basically any blue chip company’s graph since it’s IPO, it looks relatively flat until the late 2010s when it exponentially skyrockets. Why is this? Is it because of inflation?
