I'm interested in learning more about how companies like Robinhood, Charles Schwab, and/or Fidelity “get access” or manage transactions of the buying and selling of stocks? Like for example, does Robinhood just buy 100 shares of Apple and sell it to Robinhood account holders? Or does robinhood have access to other exchanges' buyers and sellers that they connect with their own consumers?
