I remember how much YouTubers were pumping this stock from 2020 until last year, and the growth story they were spinning
I’m looking at the current price and my gut instinct is to buy the hell out of this dip
I do believe that further EV adoption is inevitable and we will need an unfathomable number of more charging stations and charging infrastructure in the future. I believe Chargepoint is still the largest charging network in North America and Europe currently
But now that the hype cooled off and the more I think about it, I really don’t care where I pump my gas for my current, traditional car. When I need to fuel up, there’s no difference which gas station I go to as the gas is the same wherever. The only two factors in my decision is if the gas station seems sketchy or unsafe, or what convenience store is attached to it. There are dozens of local and franchise gas stations in my area to choose from
Is there really no moat for Chargepoint in this sense, or will charging EVs be similar to pumping gas in the future?
Is the growth story for Chargepoint dead?
