how bad is the bond market right now? enough to force a pivot?

ELI5 request. I admit I don't trade bonds and don't know much about them. I'm just starting to read up on the topic.

One article says “the stock market is in trouble because bond market is close to a crash”

another more recent article says “bond market crash simply isn't in the cards”

so what is the state of the bond market right now?

is it bad enough to force fed pivot? or is this indeterminable? What target numbers are we to look at to anticipate a fed pivot?

From what I read, I infer that controlled rate hikes should not force sudden bond market crash.

is the bond market currently being manipulated by big players to try to force fed pivot?

(sorry if these are dumb questions.. just looking for some education)
