Helpful advice?

Do you guys have any helpful advice on how to tell what may start going up, what may start going down, what stocks to buy, what stocks not to, etc.?
I’ve been trying to find patterns but stuff that I think would affect stock sometimes doesn’t and stuff that I think won’t, does. Thank you! 🙂
