Hi all,
Basically I have a small (very small <$10k) speculative account that I use mainly as a (hopefully) high yield savings account. The thing is, I would consider myself and un-educated investor, in that I didn't study finance, don't spend a ton of time with this, and it's more a set and forget/add cash to on occasion kind of thing. With that, I've only bought blue chip stocks I know or index funds, but feel very under-diversified being essentially 100% domestic and very tech heavy. Looking for simple index style buys to help diversify if I can.
Positions I hold are in SPY, VOO, QQQ, MSFT, V, and VTI. Mostly chosen from stuff i've seen on reddit etc. They have done well for me the last several years, so I'm not upset with the performance, just feel very unsure about how solid of a setup i'm working with.
Thank you!
