Hello folks of reddit, is it necessary for every trader to begin their journey by doing intraday in stocks?

Both my husband and me are into trading . Although I am very new and still a lot amateur in the field in comparison to my husband. Now being a homemaker my husband both introduced and taught me the basics of the stock market. However he suggested I can either start from Intraday or swing trading. I tried both and tbh I felt swing more comfortable for me. But everywhere I see or meet a fellow trader they often talk about their intraday experiences and I kinda feel odd. Am I doing something wrong by not trying Intraday? My husband says one can learn to be a good trader through any strategy!
