Has there ever been an equivalent to the dot-com bust since it happened?

Seems like every new highly covered industry/technology whether it be Electric Vehicles, Blockchain, AI, etc. have a bunch of people claiming it will be 'the next dot-com bust' however I don't think any equivalent has ever actually happened has it? Are there any examples out there or are we still waiting?
