Has anybody been able to crack the code (or find a key/legend) regarding the different color codes for stock/index/etf tickers on Google Finance's website/app?
That's pretty much the entire question but due to the requiring more text, I am going to keep typing here. I see no pattern to the colors of red/black/blue/teal. It isn't type of investment (stock/bond/etf/index/mutual fund), doesn't seem to be industry-driven, and I can't find a key anywhere. This has driven me crazy for months and I'd really like to know what the categories are.
