Good book to learn about stocks

Like I have no idea what the difference is between float, outstanding shares, or what P/E, PNL is or how to read an earnings report.

People mention a “stocks fundamentals” but what does that mean when the average Price to earnings is 30. Doesn't that mean it's 30x overpriced?
