So for the first year and a half that I've been investing I've been doing it along side a friend. He was the one making the calls at first because I was new to the space. After I had learned a good deal of Fundamental and Technical Analysis I felt like we were both more on the same level.
The thing is that before each of us made an investment we would consult each other to see if we thought it seemed right. There were times when he would invest and I wouldn't because I didn't think the stock was a good pick and he thought the same about some of my picks. Nevertheless, most of our portfolio was similar.
Now he sold part if his portfolio a few months ago and switched to several ETF's because of some life choices, so I'm more on my own when it comes to buying.
I know I should be more independent, but it's just scary being on my own for the first time without having a second opinion.
Maybe my lack of confidence means I don't have a good grasp on fundamental and technical analysis.
Any thoughts?
