German inflation is at a 50 year high at 8,8% and today Germany announced they’re going to print billions as a “inflation relief package”…

You can't make this shit up, holy shit, one of the biggest reasons for inflation was large printing of money, and now they're going to print even more money as an “inflation relief package”?? That wouldn't solve the problem, that would only cause inflation to go up further. Someone get Ja Rule on the phone to make sense of this, the world's gone mad. Anyone here on reddit care to explain the thought process behind this move? I'd really like to listen. And they of course claim that the money will come from other energy companies in the country because the government is going to go in and take their windfall profits, but experts have come out today and said they don't believe that will be easy to do and the usual printing of money is a more likelihood. So can someone make sense of this, I'd love to hear some explanations.
