PSA: There’s a lot of pessimism going around pertaining to stock market and the outlook of the economy as a whole. It does look like there’s some rough waters to come, and we may see lower lows soon. No one knows exactly.
I personally would love to wait until inflation retreats back to 2%, the Fed drops rates back to zero (or at least 1-2%), and companies earnings forecasts are great once again to start buying more. But, by the time that happens, the market will be considerably higher than it is right now. The market will always bottom and start to recover well before the actual economy does, which is a reason we can be cautiously optimistic.
