Not sure if this has been posted but i noticed FRC (down 50%) and SBNY (down 25% ish) and probably a lot of others were halted following the SVB situation and then recovered/stabilized after it unhalted. How tf does FRC go from -50% to almost green within 2 hours ?
Curious to know what exactly happens behind the scenes to “stabilize” these situations. Who are the “powers that be” ? is it the FED ? PPT ?
If they weren't halted i'm pretty sure FRC would easily have exceeded -70% and others would have followed suit, but there is obviously some system in play to prevent this from happening. Would love to hear from some people who work in the industry.
