Fidelity has updated their platform, and it fucked me up. I'm no longer able to buy-to-close before market hours in a timely manner.
When they updated the platform, I had to call customer support, give them my account number two times.
Then, I found out that to click on this small link “View Expanded Ticket”, but this wasn't the case prior to today.
I shorted the stock at $7, and now, I had to buy-to-sell at $12.44 .
Fidelity is a platform for old geezers anyways. It sucks. They don't even pay the intern who took my call anywhere near a living wage, so they execute a trade as if they were building a Tesla on a minimum wage salary, and are, hence, so far abstracted from their own labor.
