Entering the software AI slice of the market?

With rising rates and all of QT, there seems to be a very nice opportunity that's arrived (still coming depending on your valuation standards) in regards to up and coming SaaS players. I try to look for high standard companies that have already proved themselves and that will heavily lean on AI in the future. They don't have to be based on AI per say but their business should heavily lean on and depend on the industry (and it assumes the sector will mature another 15+ years from now way later).

So far that's lead me to 2 picks that I'm curious to get feedback on:

  1. DDOG: App “observation” and interoperability
  2. DataBricks Data-Warehouse pioneer

Essentially, as a guy who really doesn't know much about the industry, these 2 seem to be the best at what they do from what I can tell. The problem with software is that competitors can come up (and often do) and develop a better version of your thing and 1up you basically. I'm asking if there are any people in the industry that can vouch for these moats and if you see them staying in the future?

EDIT: SPLK (Splunk) is another potential competitor (not sure still need to read more) but they seem to be hemorrhaging money VS these two.
