If a company offered a 15% discount on their stock as an employee stock option.. how would this affect the price to a retail trader? I believe it would dilute shares and the more stock bought the larger the impact. Does anyone know if it would be beneficial to buy into the company before or after their employees bought their discounted stock? Is there any short term play for retail?
