As you might have seen, yesterday there was an invasion of the capital of Brazil by Bolsonaro supporters. There is a parallel with what happened in the USA, although in the Brazilian case, they managed to go much further: they invaded all three power buildings (government, parliament, and judiciary) and some ministries as well. I was wondering about the impact on the markets and looked up the charts from around 6 January but I did not see a negative effect. Is that correct or was the negative impact smoothed out by the overall bullish climate at the beginning of 2021?
