We all make mistakes when investing because we're fallible and unable to read the future. However, some mistakes are more avoidable than others. What are some of your dumbest investments?
I started a small portfolio about 18 months ago, and to date the two dumbest companies I've bought a piece of were: ~drumroll~
- IDN
- RIOT
The first is a technology micro cap that focuses on identity software and hardware. Bought it very early on with minimal DD. Mainly read a couple of articles and liked the sound of the company. Not profitable and whatever storyline I thought it had has… not sustained itself. LOL
The second is a “digital currency” mining company. Need I say more? Also, bought early on with not a lot of understanding of what DD really involved.
