Dollar General Financial Perfomance and Growth Compared to Industry and Top Competitors

The thesis is simple, Dollar general is not struggling any more or less than others in its industry from shrinkage and inflation.
Yet it’s P/E is 1/3 the industry average even though it outperforms others in the industry that have a 2x or 3x higher PE.
This is a long term investment for about 5-10 years
They have a rapid expansion plan to increase footprint by 50% in 2030 and many cost saving moves in the future. For example self checkout or making their internal trucking service more robust.
