DCA means “illusion”?

Isnt all this DCAing for pure investment purposes just making up illusions supported by how an interface sorts stuff?
If you buy 100 shares of company A for 100 bucks and one month later 100 for 80 you have not suddenly magically paid 90 a piece in the past and present, but still 100 a month ago. Taxation laws consider this.
“Positions” mean nothing if the holder doesnt want to be avtivist investor with voting power or?
Timing the market is difficult, yet everything at the markets just happens very clear time stamped.
Stressful, but how can illusions be the best way to deal with that?
