OK so encountering my first time with a covered call being in the money- Afraid of assignment …. how often does it happen? I am seeing 8% are exercised on the average and most expire worthless… and I am also seeing they are automatically exercised if they are ITM … but that contradicts reports that only 8% of them are exercised.
Any insight would be appreciated…
