I love shopping at Costco, our neighbors just came over happily sharing how they're doing better and shopping at Costco again. However, I never realized Target in the past 5 years has outperformed Costco by 90% more gains and pays x3 the dividend.
When the going gets tough, Costco, gets cut for a lot of families which have see firsthand but seems Target is where those families choose to go next instead of Walmart like our neighbors did.
Looking at the market cap of both, Target, seems poised for bigger growth even though both companies are stellar. I love Costco but Target seems like a better performer in the sector. Which would you buy?
