I am 26 and trying to get my finances in order as they feel super disorganized and all over the place.
Currently, I use Schwab for a traditional IRA, and for my stock equity plan for the previous company I use to work for, which is no longer being contributed to just a culmination of stock over the years at that company. I use fidelity for my 401k with my current company, and have a 401k for my old company on fidelity as well…. Finally I use the app Wealthfront for a Roth IRA and to link all the above accounts to track where I am at.
Someone with more knowledge than me, can you please shine some wisdom and insight as to how to beat consolidate all of these accounts?
Example: if I decide to start a Roth with Schwab or fidelity, would I incur a fee to transfer my current Roth IRA from Wealthfront to Schwab or fidelity?
Should I move everything over to either Schwab or fidelity? What sort of fees or penalties would I face?
