Hey folks!
I’m decently new to investing and am becoming more and more open to expanding my portfolio and adding new companies which is amazing.
But before I start adding more companies and spending money, I was wondering if it’s more important to concentrate my funds in a particular stock or should I spread the love among a few different positions in order to have significant gains down the road.
For example, would it be more beneficial to have 5K invested in one company or 1K invested in 5 different companies?
I’ve been wondering about this for awhile since it seems to be a nice time to start a new position or add to an existing one since the market is kinda down right now.
Just looking for a bit of advice to grow my portfolio because I definitely don’t have all the answers and I’m hoping to gain some clarity here, thanks everyone, happy Friday!
