I thought ‘closing price’ of the stocks is same with last traded price. However, I just read an article that denies it. It says,
Closing price and last traded price are different, and closing price is calculated by taking the weighted average of the stocks prices in the last 30 minutes.
I’ve never heard that closing price is weighted average of stocks prices in the last 30min. Is this just BS? What is he talking about?
