Hey everyone, didn't see any threads recently about post-split sentiment on Chipotle stock. Wondering what you guys think about Chipotle being a long-term play now that it has been split for a couple of weeks. It's currently trading at sub $60, so my question is:
- Chipotle's run up over the last 5 years has been awesome. Any reason to believe that we will no longer see games like this post split?
- Over the last couple of months, Chipotle received a lot of negative publicity on social media. How much do you think this plays a role in the board approving that 50 to 1 split? A split of this size is pretty rare, so I'm wondering if the board forecasted a decline in revenue and approved the split partially based on that?
Not really looking for financial advice as I've already bought into the stock after it split. More so everyone's thoughts about this stock being a slow growth addition to the portfolio since the pricing is pretty affordable right now and I'm looking to potentially DCA.
Also my apologies if this post comes off as lazy or shitty in any way. First post so go easy on me haha
