So this isn’t about me but a coworker, he is from Pennsylvania to give some context. So this gentleman obviously owed money to the mother but ended up getting arrested (2 years ago, just got out a few months ago). When he got out of prison he was checking on his stocks and noticed that his account was frozen and all stocks were sold. He didn’t give any real details but asked me if it was legal for the government to take the stocks. I don’t know how stocks and child support work so I was hoping y’all could help. The stocks were not company options
