How much of your money is actually invested?
Outside of an emergency fund, do you have 100% of your brokerage account invested? Whether it’s 80% index and 20% bonds, is it all invested? I have been slowly starting to continue DCA in these red markets, I have about 25% of my Roth IRA sitting in cash at 4.9% and maybe about 30k in…

Why Buffet sold Apple
Just my theory, but in my opinion Buffet does not try to time the market and there isn't anything glaringly wrong with the company, and he already had a massive amount in cash, so why sell? Personally I think he did it for his successor. Buffet is 94, and when he passes (hopefully man years…

Japan stocks plunge 7%, extending last week’s rout; other Asia-Pacific markets also fall
Asia-Pacific markets continued Friday’s sell-off as investors look toward key trade data from China and Taiwan this week, as well as central bank decisions from Australia and India. Japan’s markets led losses in the region as the Nikkei 225 and Topix dropped 7% in volatile trading. Monday’s decline follows Friday’s sell-off, when markets in the…

The last times the VIX surged over 40 captured the highest stress periods in the modern era (dotcom, subprime, pandemic)
Check this chart: https://i.imgur.com/Wg1Cg5z.png And it just crossed 60 at the time of this post. Do yourself a favor today: do not look at 3-month or less charts.
9 month or longer only. When you see that your stock has pulled back to a place you were happy to be in May or Jan … you’ll get more perspective. Of course, if you are a short term trader, this may not apply.

Which company has the prettiest earnings report/slides for investors?
I love data visualization, and I am shocked by the number of giant companies with horrible charts and a pitiful use of color, fonts, spacing, etc. I lead a project to automate interactive reports with R for investors in my company, and I was interested in getting some inspiration.

What to buy at this huge discount?
Seeing the potential large correction coming within the coming month(s), where should I be throwing my cash reserves? I’m seeing NVDA potentially trail back down to 75-78 within this correction and SPY move to 460’s. But what should I put my money in to get maximum value out of this huge buying opportunity? Should I…
