People like to talk about growth companies and future potential of TSLA, then jerk off to some nonsense growth numbers of products that doesn't even exists. Here I am sitting with new MacBook pro with M1 Pro chip and Holy lord mighty, sweet baby jesus. Apple engineers have schooled all the braindead engineers from Intel, AMD, Qualcomm, fucking name it all, who have been in chip industry for not years but MULTIPLE DECADES. From the reviews I knew these chips are good but experience it first time in hand. I am ABSOLUTE mindblown.
I have been in software development for over 10 years now, worked with different software stack and hardware. But the amount of performance, and battery I am seeing with this is just unheard of without even plugged in. Somehow it is almost twice as fast as my last years i7 with almost 3 times the better battery life and fans don't even turn on. I just can not comprehand what kind of sorcery is this. Either they have beat the law of physics or other companies are legit braindead.
TLDR
Anyways I don't want to turn this into MacBook marketing post. But the point of my post is, AAPL is OLD, AAPL is still BOLD, and APPL is DAD of all. They are still innovating like crazy. This is growth company from all the angles. Don't sleep over it. With all the vertical integration, i absolutely can not wait for their AR/VR hardware and even car chips. Just imagine how much tech IP and leverage they have in chip designing now. I don't even think most people are valuing AAPL's silicon in their models. Just in 10 years they went from designing mobile chip to schooling AMD and Intel. What do you guys think? what part of apple excites you?
