Can someone help me understand the 30 Day yield value, please?

I’ve been trying to do the math myself to calculate how much dividends I can get from a particular position but it seems that I’m calculating it wrong

The way I understood it, the 30 day yield means that for every 100 dollars you invested, you will get X percentage of that value per month as dividends.

I think I’m missing something can somebody help me out please?
