Can someone explain what’s going to happen next with Twitter stock in dummy terms?

I’m not very well versed in stocks but just noticed Elon closed the deal! I fortunately invested a decent amount but what was wondering what exactly is happening next? Are all the money I invested + the total return going to be given back to me?
