I’m on mobile so apologies for any bad formatting.
First question is what is the correct term (yield maybe?) for what percentage I’m earning based on stock price and yearly dividend payments?
Which leads to my second question. I spent $298.96 on FNF a couple years ago. I’m currently getting $3.52 per quarter, so $14.08 yearly. Is it 14.08/298.96 so I’m making 4.7% annually? Or what’s the correct calculation? What’s an acceptable range for yearly percentage yield?
I obviously am not investing huge amounts atm but trying to learn and grow.
