Buying same stock, different account?

Is it stupid to purchase the same stock in a different account?

For example:

I have a larger portion of VXUS than I wanted, and would like to sell about 1/3 of it to purchase a stock (AMD or NVDA)…this is in my TFSA and it is currently maxed out until January 2023.

I do make deposits into my RRSP every month and have a few thousand to invest & been leaning towards AMD and NVDA like I said

I was thinking of buying AMD and some NVDA, whatever I decide is it a bad choice to hold AMD in my TFSA and RRSP? Vice Versa

TL;DR Only reason being my TFSA is limited and if I see a good price and would like to jump at it, what’s the downside or owning same stocks in different accounts*
