I sold some S&P shares earlier this year to redo how portfolio was set up. This resulted in cap gains so now I’m looking to offset some of that. I have a few losers from the year: Raytheon, General Mills, Lockheed, Disney (only down like 5% on this one so whatever there). I want to sell some of these offset some of my gains. I like all of these companies as long term investments so I will want back in. Do I just need to wait 60 days before I buy back in to not interfere with taking the loss on sale?
