Am I reading this correctly? Broadcom has agreed to buy VMWare (who also agreed) for $142.50/share which will be paid to VMWare stockholders as 50% cash and 50% Broadcom stock.
Considering that VMWare is trading currently for about $117.25 would it make sense to buy some shares and effectively make $25/share?
