So buffet bought shares around 77$ in hope that microsoft will buy company for 95$. If the deal comes through, he would profit from difference. Can small investors also make money like this? If I buy share at my broker for 77$ then after the purchase i will get share of microsoft worth 95$? Or how will this work?
