Almost everyone I talk with are scared of stocks. They're in low yield CDs. And such. They're all scared that stocks are too risky. I try to explain to them about Broad Market indices and such but they refuse to touch them. I get single stocks is a gamble but how do I explain to them that if you diversified with VOO and VTI etc. It's better gains. Than using CDs to save for retirement when, inflation outpaces CDs anyways.
