Betting on climate change: what stocks to buy for long-term benefit as things get worse

Given that it increasingly looks like climate change is going to get much, much worse before it gets any better, what are some long-term investments?

There are many posts on this sub discussing climate change in the context of investing in renewables. But it's apparent, from the crisis in Ukraine, that the world much more easily shifts to wacky (and admittedly necessary) policies like labeling gas as a “green” project. It seems increasingly likely that we're royally fucked.

There are a handful of posts discussing stocks to invest in based on worsening climate change, but they are generally low effort.

Obviously gas companies will benefit, but beyond the most obvious what companies or sectors are likely solid, long-term investments as climate change worsens?

I don't any specific companies (which is why I'm asking), but for categories I would off-handedly suggest any infrastructure companies. Most of the built environment is designed for a very specific temperature and climate range. But that range is changing. For example, officials had to wrap the Hammersmith Bridge in London in reflective foil to keep it from crumbling. The recent heat wave also melted a runway at Luton Airport.

Secondly, I would suggest climate control companies – air conditioning and heating seem like viable sectors.

What else is out there that we should be thinking of as 10-20 year investments, betting (tragically) that climate change will worsen?
