Best long term option for brokerage accounts

Hi all, fortunate to have a nice setup for long term investing in a brokerage account (outside or 401k and Roth IRA).

Currently using a Schwab Intelligent Portfolio due to tax loss harvesting. Divesting RSUs and occasionally moving into a SIP account. So far, I am pretty pleased. Not sure if this is the best approach versus just putting together a VTI/VXUS 70/30 index fund. Is there are argument for SIP as a long term savings account in this taxable environment or am I best to go the simple ETF route?
