These are the stocks on my watchlist (7/18)
Hi! I am an ex-prop shop trader who trades equities. This is a daily watchlist for trading: I might trade all the stocks on here, or none of them, and stocks not on here on any given day! I only hold MAG7/general broad market indices long-term, unless otherwise noted in the ticker. If you use…

Highest drop in global chip stocks since the 2020 pandemic
People have been saying time and again that the technological market, specifically A.I., is nowhere near its peak. With the changing times and eras, stocks in the A.I. sector will continue to grow and reach new highs. However, with the sudden news yesterday announced by both candidates for the 2024 US President, it seems like…

Which companies/stocks will benefit from Chinese tariffs
If there is a change in the US administration, I believe there will be a bunch of tariffs/restrictions on US-China trade. Which companies do you think will benefit the most out of this? What’s Eli Lilly’s moat on GLP-1s?
Saw it’s down pretty big today – do they have any kind of moat on GLP-1s for weight loss? Obviously they were one of the first to make the drug but I’d imagine there will be all kinds of competition as time goes on. As someone in healthcare, I am very bullish on GLP-1s overall.…

Abbot getting smoked today
What do you all think about this. Earnings were good and guidance was slightly raised but it seems the fear out there, combined with today’s market action, is the NEC litigation. The ceo was on Cramer this morning talking down the risk, but Cramer straight up said he thought they were going to lose the…

Been Around The Block, Nothing Beats Buy & Hold.
I've spent the last year learning option structures, this is after years of learning about trading, taking courses, learning about fundamentals, how the fed works, etc… I'm up 23% ytd after today's losses. From my experience, what's made me the most profit are bets where time was on my side. Holding shares or even contracts…

Chipotle (CMG) built loyalty program of 40 million members in only 5 years.
I'm a long-term shareholder in Chipotle (CMG) and I am hoping to gain other shareholders opinions on the fundamental drivers of their revenue and net margin growth. Accelerated digital adoption during the pandemic has significantly bolstered Chipotle's loyalty program, expected to sustain higher order frequency and lower customer churn rates. Chipotlanes, present in 25% of…

Do any brokers offer higher leverage on intraday trading with stop in place on equities, like with futures?
I'm seeing a lot of results from India, but not US. Seems it's just the generally 6.6 to 1 (better on broad based ETFs), with Portfolio Margin. On futures like ES (S&P 500) you can get much higher leverage on intraday vs say S&P ETF like SPY, if you keep a stop loss in place,…
